That‘s how to get the perfect reproducible print impression! During each set-up process of a print job several hundred meters of waste arise while adjusting the ink deck settings. As the number of job changes increases and the run lengths decrease. The lowering of the set-up costs gets more and more important. _fast stands for a customised developed module for our well known web inspection system webvideo_star 2000.

The eltromat flexo auto set technology automates the ink deck setting in CI flexo printing presses while carrying out the control of plate and anilox rollers at all printing units simultaneously.
Another specific feature of _fast is the combination with the length and side register control of the _ci module, which is carried out parallel to the ink deck setting and thus with high efficiency. The _ci module controls the length and side register perfectly with a measurement accuracy of 1/100 mm. In contrast to conventional systems all preadjustments can be done during machine stand still. During running machine no manual operator intervention is necessary.
The OneTouch operation combines the print- and register adjustment in a process-optimised flow. Via a specially developed and fully integrated mark field the digital camera of the webvideo_star 2000 captures all information about the ink deck setting as well as about length and side register. The measurement fields (designed for _fast) with a variable area coverage, provide a more precise adjustment of the pressing than via full tone marks. The measurement can made using one or two measurement fields. For the positioning in the print image several mark confi gurations are available.
The result: perfectly reproducible pressing at lowest possible waste. Even in this field eltromat sets new standards.
