Standard functions for 100% print inspection
twin_check inspects your print with high precision. With its intelligent functions, it is designed to provide the operator with an optimum overview of the production at any time, to assist in analysing and rectifying errors, and thereby ensure maximum production performance and quality.
Highly efficient inspection
The high power LED illumination is designed for the inspection of all opaque printing substrates. The system can be equipped with additional lighting for the inspection of transparent or reflective material.
The high resolution inspection takes place via up to four state of the art colour cameras, by means of which an optimum inspection performance is achieved. This ensures that even the smallest errors are detected before they lead to waste.
Display, operation and evaluation
Operation takes place intuitively using a touch_screen. It enables the simple and fast set-up of a new print job. During production, the entire format is displayed on a separate display monitor, providing the operator with an optimum overview.
The inspection results are clearly displayed and arranged in a waterfall display. The graphically supported display shows the errors that occurred according to the position on the print format and the error class. The last error image can be used for error analysis and assists the operator in the rectification of error causes.
Intelligent functions
Stamping mask and sensitivity mask
The highly flexible masking function allows the inspection of any print jobs and print image areas with different sensitivities. This ensures that particularly critical areas are also inspected in a particularly critical manner while insignificant areas can be ignored.
Error classification
twin_check detects the most varied types of errors, such as doctor blade streaks, hickies, changes in the colouring or
splashes occurring only once and differentiates between process-related and sporadic errors. Errors occurring sporadically
can be simply suppressed, if necessary. This unique, print error specific classification ensures that only the relevant errors
are displayed. This means that unnecessary alarm messages belong to the past.
Errors that occurred are grouped according to their class in the error catalogue. For each error class, the running metres are documented, and the first error image, the image with the largest error and the last error image are displayed. The error image can be selected directly and thus displayed enlarged in the RH monitor section. Now it is possible to toggle between the error image and reference image by pressing one button. The clearly arranged display and simple operation thus assist the operator in an efficient manner during error analysis.
