The eltromat register control system doc_4 has been specially designed for offset printing but can also be used in printing presses employing other techniques (hybrid machines) and inline finishing units. It is based on tried and tested technologies of the well-known eltromat register control.
Length and side register of the printing and finishing units are measured and controlled automatically with no need for the operator to act. While the current job is still run, the data of up to 8 future jobs can already be defined. Finishing equipment, e.g. perforators or folders, can also be controlled. The system can be combined optionally by a web viewing and/or colour control module to become a high-end Print Quality Control System.
Technical Data
For distinct demands The register marks are reliably measured even with low-contrast colours and most different materials. Paper, cardboard, labelling material, opaque or transparent films are fields of application.
Absolute precision
The absolute measurement of the colour register by colour CCD cameras ensures utmost accuracy even with colours that are difficult to be measured by conventional systems. The top to bottom register is also measured absolutely. Up to 10 finishing units can be reliably and safely controlled by separate cameras. Also for this purpose mini register marks are used.
